I was just watching a documentary called, “The Cove.” It’s about a city in Japan that slaughters and sells dolphins. Trainers from all around the world go there to purchase dolphins to bring back to animal parks like “Sea World” for training. Unfortunately, all the dolphins that are not chosen are killed and slaughtered for resale of meat. That meat is extremely high in mercury and falsely sold as “Whale” meat in markets. A live dolphin can go for almost $100,000 where a dead one can be sold for $600. This documentary is well worth watching. You can see the passion they put into this documentary. It’s as if the creators take you on a mission with them and let you feel the magnitude of what’s going wrong with the fishing industry.
At the very end of the documentary I get a phone call from my girlfriend, asking, “Do you see the Eclipse?” I slowly pry myself off the couch and head to the front yard. It’s 30 degrees outside and I’m feeling a bit cold. The cold immediately subsides as I look up into the sky. I have seen the moon and viewed it as a rotating sphere floating next to earth. Let me rephrase that, I have never “felt” the moon, I would usually just “see” the moon. It made me think of how conscious we are sometimes, as individuals and as a human race. We come in and out of consciousness without even realizing where we are living or what we are doing. Are we living in our minds, in our hearts, or in our souls? Please don’t forget that we are floating in outer space. That should be amazing enough to help you remember why you are here on earth living.
It’s 2010 and 2011 is right around the corner. So many changes happened for me during 2010. Nothing was gradual about this year. I wonder what is in store for 2011. I’ll let God guide my steps and I know he’ll guide me to quiet waters.
Technology is incredibly fast nowadays and it’s kinda scary. One day the world is flat and the next day the world is round. Now it’s a hologram and as soon as you know it, everything is a mystery.

I think I told this last year, but I have tons of more followers than I did then, so just for those who don’t know:
In ancient Siberia, Russia, the local shamans would gather mushrooms to perform rituals with the towns folk during the winter solstice. This mushroom is the…
